Nightlife

In Puerto de la Cruz , the entertainment district lies on Avenida de Colon and adjoining streets. The nightlife is varied, lively, and loud. Visitors need only follow their ears to the music and beat that best suits their mood.

There are many popular restaurants with entertainment in Puerto de la Cruz . The most prominent among them is the Cafe de Paris on Avenida de Colon. Alternatively, the Caballo Blanco at San Telmo is well-visited, as is the Zhivago at Puerto Viejo.

Discos can also be found a-plenty. The most popular are the Victoria on Avenida de Colon, Joy on Calle Obispo Perez Caceras, the Concordia Club on Avenida de Venezuela, the Coco-Loco in Los Realjos, and the Qatar in La Paz. The Palacio de la Salsa in San Jeronimo, La Orotava, caters to the salsa lovers. The Harlequins is a British cabaret bar on Avenida Generalisimo 1.

For an international floor show that is simply amazing, the Isla del Lago nightclub is the place to be.

Those looking for a different form of entertainment, that is, in the form of a night out in the casino, the Casino Taoro is a sure hit. The casino's atmosphere is decidedly sophisticated and more casual, and its restaurant and bar serve excellent food and drink in an exquisite setting.

English pubs also provide a cozy atmosphere for a night out on the town. These are mostly frequented by, who else, the English, but everybody else is welcome. Among the most popular pubs are the Three Legs at Calle Dr. Ingram, the Beehive and the Penny at Calle de Hoya, Central Park at Avenida Blass Perez Conzales, and Hyde Park Corner at Avenida Melchor Luz.
